3. Why we process your data

We process your personal data exclusively for the following purposes:

  • Handling quote requests and contact forms — to assess your request and make you a suitable offer.
  • Performance of contracts — to deliver the agreed services, including project communication and feedback via our review system.
  • Customer service — to answer your questions and support you during and after a project.
  • Website analytics — to gain insight into the use of our website and improve the user experience. We use Matomo (privacy-friendly, hosted in the Netherlands) and Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager.
  • Marketing — only with your explicit consent do we send newsletters or commercial messages.

4. Legal basis for processing

We process your data on the basis of one or more of the following legal grounds under the GDPR:

  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) — for placing non-essential cookies and for sending marketing messages.
  • Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) — for processing data necessary for the performance of our services.
  • Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — for website analytics and improving our services, always weighing your privacy interests.
  • Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR) — for retaining invoices and other administrative records in accordance with statutory retention obligations.

5. Retention period

We do not retain your personal data longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or for as long as the law requires.

  • Contact form data — maximum 2 years after the last contact, unless a business relationship has been established.
  • Client data and project files — 7 years after project completion (statutory accounting obligation).
  • Website analytics data — maximum 13 months (Matomo) and 26 months (Google Analytics), in anonymised form.
  • Cookie consent — 12 months, after which consent is requested again.

6. Sharing with third parties

We never sell your personal data to third parties. We may share your data with:

  • Processors — parties that process data on our behalf, such as our hosting provider and email provider. We have data processing agreements in place with these parties.
  • Google LLC — via Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics for website statistics. Google processes data in accordance with its privacy policy and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
  • Matomo — our privacy-friendly analytics software, hosted on our own server in the Netherlands. No data is shared with third parties.
  • Legal obligations — when we are legally required to do so, for example at the request of a court or supervisory authority.

Outside the above cases, your data will not be provided to third parties without your explicit consent.

7. Cookies and tracking

Our website uses cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your device when you first visit our website.

Functional cookies (always active)

Analytical cookies (after consent)

Marketing cookies (after consent)

Via Google Tag Manager, marketing cookies may be placed to measure the effectiveness of our online advertising. These cookies are only placed after your explicit consent.
